 Sai and Kirthi are well-known dance performers and instructors from Bangalore. They are the founders of Latin Dance India in association with Latin Dance Australia. They have travelled to UK, US, Australia, China, Singapore, Korea, Hong Kong, Bangkok and Malaysia, competing and performing, representing India at International Salsa Festivals. Sai and Kirthi are the first Indians to represent India at the World Salsa Championships, held in Orlando (Florida) in December 2007. In 2007 they won the title at the Singapore International Salsa Festival and ranked second place at the China International Open Salsa Championships. Sai and Kirthi are known for their powerful performances and their style of teaching.

Between them Carlos Galiano and Elli Torres have represented Brisbane,
Australia as instructors and performers, locally, nationally and at
International Salsa Congresses.
Among these are Madrid (2004), Los Angeles (2005), Barcelona (2006),
Sydney (2004-2008), New Zealand (2008) and India (2008). Carlos and Elli
will be representing Australia in the ESPN World Salsa Championships 2008
in the Cabaret division.
As instructors, Carlos and Elli enjoy sharing their dance knowledge and
inspiring others with their passion for dance. With a combined 12 years of
dance instruction, performances and competitions, they are a sought after
dance duo, captivating onlookers with their energy and flair on the dance
floor.
Salsa is Carlos and Elli's forte, depicted by a strong masculine style,
coupled with feminine elegance. They have also developed a unique style of
Bachata, based on exposure to this style while living in Spain and
choreographing for landmark video clips, namely Grupo Aventura's number 1
Bachata hit single 'Obsession' (Marbella, 2004).
They are currently recognized as leading names in the world of Bachata,
with invitations to teach and perform at international Bachata festivals,
including the Sydney Bachata Festival (2008) and Bachatando Festival,
Belgium (2009).
Carlos and Elli are founders of Brisbane's premier salsa academy, Latin
Steps Dance Company. They also run Bravo Latin Events, Brisbane's hottest
salsa events, involving local, national and international dancers.

Jessalyn comes from San Francisco, is the director and founder of MamboGem Latin Dance Company, and has been performing and teaching salsa/mambo since 2001. She performed with professional Latin dance company - Mambo Romero Dance Company of San Francisco in LA Salsa Congress, Puerto Rico World Salsa Congress, and San Francisco Ethnic Dance Festival.
Jessalyn often visits New York to train with Eddie Torres, Frankie Martinez and many other world renowned mambo teachers. She has traveled around the globe to attend many world salsa festivals and danced with the best dancers from all over the world. In August 2006, Jessalyn was invited as a special guest judge for the 2nd China Salsa Championships in Beijing.
Jessalyn has over 15 years of professional dance training from U.S. in variety of dance disciplines, including ballet, modern, jazz, flamenco, international Latin, Ballroom, Westcoast Swing, Hustle, New York style mambo, hip hop, and afro-cuban folklore dance movements. Her elegant, smooth and sensuous mambo dance styling reflects her training in these dance forms.

Oliver Pineda is the founder and director of Latin Motion Dance Academy, Australia’s most successful Latin Dance Academy. Oliver Pineda is also the founder and director of Australia’s most prestigious yearly salsa event and competition, The Australian Salsa Classic.
Oliver Pineda with celebrity dance partner Luda Kroitor from ‘Dancing with the Stars’ are Australia’s only 5 times World Salsa Champions having competed and won the 2001 IDO World Salsa Championships in Miami, 2005 World Salsa Open in Puerto Rico, 2005 & 2006 ESPN World Salsa Championships held in Nevada, Las Vegas and recently the 2007 ESPN World Salsa Championships held in Disney World, Florida.
Oliver & Luda have also been confirmed as special guest choreographers for the Channel 10 TV hit show ‘So You Think You Can Dance’.
Born in Australia of Chilean descent, this young man has been dancing Salsa for 15 years and is Australia’s most undisputed talent. His unique style of dance and clear precise teaching methods make him one of the most admired and sought after Salsa dancers and instructors in the world.
Although passionate about Salsa and Mambo, Oliver's dance experience also extends to Rueda, Merengue, Zouk Lambada, Kizomba, Samba, Cumbia, Cha Cha, Rumba, Afro Cuban Rumba, Jive and Paso Doble as well as Modern dances such as the Waltz, Slow Foxtrot, Quick Step and Jazz. In addition to his dancing expertise, he is also a well known percussionist playing in some of Sydney’s top Salsa bands, mastering the timbales, congas and bongo amongst other percussive instruments. His early performance experience within the Brazilian culture has also enabled him to handle Brazilian style instruments such as the snare drum, zurdo, pandero and the hepinique.
His black belt achievements as a Martial Artist have also equipped him with an understanding of the basics of Capoeira. Oliver is also proud to have represented Australia at several Championships of Dancesport at a national and international level. With 7 years training in Dancesport, Oliver chooses instead to pursue the music and dance of his Latin American roots. It was Oliver and his partner who were captured on international television screens, leading the "Americas" segment out onto the field in the Olympic Opening Ceremonies Sydney 2000.
It was also Oliver who was given the honour of being Australia’s first Male dancer ever to be featured on the cover of Australia’s VIVA Magazine ‘The Only Australian Lifestyle Magazine about the Latino World’ in it’s December issue 2004. Oliver was also given the Best Male Instructor Award at the biggest Salsa Congress in the world, the 2006 West Coast Salsa Congress in Los Angeles.
After winning the title of IDO World Salsa Champion 2001 and being the First Australian International Representative, Oliver decided to take himself and his company, Latin Motion to the international circuit. Oliver has taught, danced in and was the choreographer for routines performed at numerous international Salsa Congresses such as Los Angeles, Puerto Rico, Switzerland, Spain, Canada, Paris, UK, Dubai, New Zealand, Japan, Korea, Portugal, Canary Islands, Luxembourg, Cyprus, New York and more.
Oliver also heads the highest calibre student performance group in Australia, the ‘Latin Motion Rising Stars’. Oliver the director and artistic director of Latin Motion is proud to be the choreographer, lead dancer and trainer for the Latin Motion team which has now represented Australia overseas over 50 times. Oliver was a founding member of the original 'Rueda Dance Group' introducing Cuban Salsa & Rueda to Sydney in 1999 and was one of the instigators of Linear Style Salsa in 2000. Oliver has been responsible for introducing Kizomba and Semba to Australia this year and is the pioneer of Mambo ‘On 2’ in Australia.
Oliver is also proud to be the creator of his own brand of Salsa called ‘Aussie Style Salsa.’

The origins of our dance troupe come from our African roots, in addition to a ballet, modern and jazz foundation. Our troupe's main focus is about building foundation based on the many unique levels/steps of all dance forms, to become grand and revolutionary dancers. We have had extensive experience in various types of dance. We were blessed to be able to work with one of the top choreographers/ teams in the world, Seaon "Stylist" Dance Company as part of his core traveling performers. After the retirement of the Seaon Stylist Dance Company which provided us with the foundation, technique and performance skills, Sakkara Dance Company was formed with the original "Stylist" core traveling team, which was later continued by co-directors Lesley Washington and Violeta Anderson. Continually challenging ourselves to create a stronger foundation of technique and embrace the many forms of dance and musicality with each and every choreography.
In July 2006 co-directors Violeta Anderson and Lesley Washington formed a secondary team "The Sakadelics" as a way to give back to new dancers the technique and foundation which we have further developed over the years as our personal style, which we still constantly challenge ourselves to grow as dancers. As a result of our Troupe's performances, and the artistic vision and direction that serve as its foundation, Sakkara strives to both preserve and continually contribute to the body of work in this art form.

Daniel goes by the stage name “D-Yang”, which symbolizes his foreign roots and passion for spreading Salsa across borders in a spirit of unity.
Daniel has DJ’d several international events including the ESPN World Salsa Championships, the Shanghai International Salsa Festival, and the United Dance Annual International Salsa Congress held in Beijing. He has been a regular DJ at Block8, Suzie Wong’s, The Saddle Cantina and Latinos clubs. As a dancer he has performed at the West Coast Salsa Congress, the United Dance Annual International Salsa Congress as well as many other events.
Daniel specializes in various genres of music; Salsa, New York Mambo, African Salsa, and Latin Hip Hop inclusive.
